WebCT CE 6 Resources
The committee for E-Learning is pleased to present WebCT Campus Edition 6 for use in all classes in the fall semester of 2007. This new version is packed with new tools, improved navigation for both students and instructors as well as a new layout that will not only enrich the class presentation but class administration as well.
Whats New?
Student View Now, you won't need a test student to see what the student sees. With the Tabs view, youll be able to see what the student sees with a simple click of the mouse. Since there is a student for each class, youll be able to assign grades to your student account, participate in discussion boards, take quizzes or exams and basically do/see whatever an enrolled student can do/see.
Content Drag and drop functionality makes it easier to upload multiple files at one time. Adding a single file becomes a breeze with the new and improved navigation.
Roles The new Designer role allows instructional technology assistants to better administer the class environment and content.
Grade book The grade book module has been reworked to incorporate new functionality such as Name Freeze where student names are frozen on the left while the rest of the tabular type data scrolls.These are just a few of the new features added to WebCT CE 6.0. While there are new and improved tools and functions, this new system retains all of the previously available features
